Collections Analytics
Collections Analytics improves recoveries and reduces credit losses by optimizing collections strategies with data. The role tracks delinquency movement using KPIs such as roll rates, cure rates, recovery rates, bounce rates, contactability, promise-to-pay conversion, and resolution timelines across DPD buckets. Analysts segment accounts by risk, vintage, geography, ticket size, and behavior to decide the best treatment strategy—digital nudges, call center, field visits, settlements, or legal routes. They measure agent and vendor productivity, support account allocation across channels, and help plan capacity (staffing vs expected workload). Impact measurement is important: analysts compare outcomes across treatments and may run tests to identify which interventions increase cures without increasing cost or complaints. Data reconciliation is often required because outcomes come from multiple systems. Insights also feed back into underwriting and product teams (repayment design, early-warning triggers, policy feedback). The role suits candidates who like operational analytics with measurable impact, and can grow into collections strategy lead, recovery leadership, or broader risk operations roles.
