About This Course
A Business Analyst bridges stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure the right solution is built and adopted. The role involves understanding business goals, current processes, and pain points, then translating them into clear requirements (BRD/FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria) and process maps (AS-IS/TO-BE). The BA aligns stakeholders on scope and priorities, supports solution design with product/tech teams, and validates outcomes through UAT planning, test cases, and defect triage. Many BAs also define KPIs and reporting needs so solutions are measurable. In agile environments, the BA helps manage backlog clarity and supports sprint execution through continuous clarification. Tools commonly include Jira/Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, Excel, and sometimes SQL for data checks. The role suits candidates who enjoy structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, and turning ambiguity into clear deliverables. Growth paths include senior BA, product owner, product manager, program manager, or domain consultant roles.
